Chapter 2 - Reunion Unrealized

Nine years have passed and in this time we see Ash and May grown up and have now started their own Pokémon journey. May joined Ash on this journey sometime ago after Ash's journeys through Kanto and Johto and is now in the Hoenn region to continue his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master and May who has decided to head on becoming a Top Coordinator. Along with Ash and May are one of Ash's best friend named Brock who has journeyed with Ash through Kanto and Johto as well and we have Max, May's younger brother who can't wait to start his own journey. Right now, Ash and May are in the streets of North Petalburg while Brock and Max are in a Pokémon Center to see how the Pokémon are doing. It is another christmas day and Ash and May are spending a wonderful night in North Petalburg by walking around the city and seeing the christmas decorations. Ash and May stopped by a little shop not too far from the Pokémon Center and decided to see what they can find. Ash split apart from May so that they can see what they'd like to buy and Ash came upon an aisle of stuffed animals where there are so many different kinds to choose from while May came upon an aisle of scarves which had many different kinds of color combinations. Back in the aisle of stuffed animals Ash finally found one that he really liked. The stuffed animal he chose was an adorable little brown teddy bear which was wearing a ribbon around its neck. May had also come across a scarf that she liked which was a light blue and orange striped at the ends of the scarf so she picked it up and went to the register to purchase it the same way Ash did when he found the teddy bear. Once they made their purchase they stepped out and went to a park nearby which had such beautiful christmas lights and a wonderful blue Christmas tree in the middle. During this time Ash and May turned to each other and Ash handed a gift bag to May. May was pretty shocked when Ash had given her the bag . The bag was filled with wrapping paper which had little ribbons on them and the bag had christmas bells. After looking for a while May began to dig into the the bag to see what was inside a and when she felt the gift she pulled in out and she was holding a teddy bear that was wearing a ribbon around its neck. May gasped when she saw her christmas gift and then smiled brightly. She was so happy for what Ash had given her and thanked him happily. It didn't end there, May also had a gift for Ash that she had been waiting to give him since they left the store. It was Mays turn to give her gift to Ash by pulling it out of the bag that she was carrying, she walked up to Ash and put a light blue and orange striped scarf around his neck. Ash looked and placed his hands on the scarf smiling at his new scarf and at May. The both of them seemed to be having such a wonderful time with what they had given to each other, both Ash and May blushed when May put the scarf around Ash's neck. It seems these two have already become such close friends toward each other and who knows what awaits later on. To be continued...
